Angeline Cirino, LISW
I approach therapy as a collaborative, structured process that helps people move toward lives shaped more by their values than by their fears. My style is steady, supportive, and practical. I work to create an environment where clients feel understood, encouraged, and capable of meaningful change. I try to strike a balance between support and challenge.
I work with older teens and adults experiencing OCD and anxiety disorders, including generalized anxiety, social anxiety, phobias, and panic disorder. Treatment begins with a thorough evaluation so we can understand the full context of your symptoms and goals. From there, we develop a clear, time-limited plan focused on building skills, practicing exposures, and measuring progress. A central goal of my work is to teach clients to become their own therapists, equipped with tools they can use long after treatment ends.
Therapist (she/her)
My clinical approach draws from Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and principles of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Because anxiety and OCD often occur alongside depression or other challenges, I tailor treatment to each person’s unique needs while emphasizing flexibility, self-compassion, and growth.
I earned my Master of Social Work and a Graduate Certificate in Trauma-Informed Practice from Case Western Reserve University, and completed advanced training in ERP through the Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety at the University of Pennsylvania.
I believe therapy is an opportunity to face fears through planned exposures in a supported way, and to reclaim the parts of life that anxiety has pulled you away from. Outside of work, I enjoy painting, exploring new foods, spending time in nature, and spoiling my cat.
